Announcement of the Directive on the 'Elite Acceleration Program for the Advancement of Knowledge and Technology' by the National Elites Foundation.

With the objective of systematic networking among distinguished faculty members and scientific elites of the country, and enhancing their impact in addressing the strategic challenges of society, industry, and knowledge-based enterprises, the National Elites Foundation has approved and promulgated the directive entitled "Networking and Development of the Prominent Impact of Elites in the Advancement of Knowledge and Technology" (the Elite Acceleration Program for the Advancement of Knowledge and Technology).

This directive, which supersedes the previous directive on "Development of Problem-Oriented Cores of Faculty Members (Shahid Dr. Beheshti Program)," was approved by the Acting Head of the National Elites Foundation on 11 Azar 1404 and has been in force since that date.

Pursuant to this regulation, scientific cores are formed in two frameworks—"demand-driven" and "priority-oriented"—under the leadership of faculty members and with the participation of elites. Depending on the scientific rank of the members and the nature of the problem, these cores shall benefit from financial support, research facilities, welfare assistance (including housing facilities), and tax incentives as stipulated under the Law on the Leap in Knowledge-Based Production.

It is anticipated that the implementation of this program will constitute an effective step toward scientific synergy, knowledge transfer, and the focused resolution of the country's priority issues grounded in science and technology.
